Coveragely

Designing and launching a reporting platform for PR and SEO professionals

Coveragely is an online platform that helps PR and SEO professionals generate visually rich reports from their online media coverage.

Originally developed as an internal tool, I worked with the client across branding, UX, and UI design to help transform the platform into a scalable customer-facing product with a cohesive and engaging digital experience.

UX Strategy and product structure

A major part of the project focused on defining the overall product experience and establishing clear user journeys between the marketing website and main platform.

To support the transition from internal tool to public-facing product, I mapped out a new platform structure in detail - including onboarding flows, feature interactions, payment journeys, reporting functionality, and wider user experience considerations.

The objective was to create a product experience that felt intuitive and accessible while still supporting the more advanced functionality required by PR and SEO professionals.

Brand identity

Alongside the UX work, I developed a complete visual identity for the platform, aimed at creative PR and marketing professionals.

The brand was designed to feel modern, confident, and highly creative, helping position the product competitively within the PR and SEO industry whilst giving the platform a distinct personality.

The work included the development of brand values, mission statement, tone-of-voice guidelines, logo design, typographic system, colour palette, initial photography direction, and social media assets.

UI Design and prototyping

The final stage of the project focused on designing and prototyping the marketing website and platform interface.

Using Figma, I created extensive interactive prototypes and developed a comprehensive design system that powered all areas of the experience - ensuring consistency across the product while supporting future scalability.

The interface design focused on presenting complex reporting information in a clear and visually engaging way, balancing functionality with a polished and accessible user experience.

Outcome

The project transformed Coveragely from an internally focused tool into a credible customer-facing product with a clear brand identity and scalable digital experience.

Working across branding, UX strategy, and interface design allowed me to help shape the product from the ground up — from early structural planning through to final visual execution.
