Since 2011 I've worked with startups, agencies and established organisations to create products, brands and digital experiences that help them to engage and connect with people.
Drawing on varied experience across product design, branding and digital strategy, I help organisations define their objectives, articulate their personality and create impactful digital experiences.
My work often spans the full design process, from research and product definition through to UX, interface design, prototyping and launch. Equally, I can focus on a specific area when working as part of a wider team, bringing an understanding of a wider context to that role.
Some projects begin with an idea and a blank canvas, while others involve refining and evolving existing products as organisations grow. Depending on where a client is at in their journey and what they are looking to achieve, this can mean extensive research, strategy and validation; other times it means moving quickly, launching confidently and allowing ideas to evolve through real-world learning.
The result is work that is intuitive and aligned with both user needs, technical scope and organisational goals.

Coming from an agency background, I've spent much of my career collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of products, brands and digital experiences.
The fast-paced agency environment taught me how to quickly understand new challenges, adapt to a variety of different industries and contribute at different stages of the design process. Today, I'm equally comfortable embedding within an established product team, partnering with an agency, or working directly with founders to help shape products, brands and digital experiences from the ground up.
The reason I got into design in the first place was through music, and by designing and building fan-sites and communities as a teenager for my favourite bands. Alongside design, I'm also a musician myself, and my DIY approach to being in an independent band continues to influence the way I approach creativity.
This connection to creative culture often draws me towards design projects within music, and for independent organisations, but it also shapes my wider approach to design - valuing personality, originality and seeking to create genuine human connection.
